Movie: Closure

Husband's Perspective:

The wife picked out this movie. It sucked. The only reason I didn't give it a one is because I have actually seen worse. It is filmed in England, (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). It's hard to hear. The story sucked. I just say stay away and save your money and time.

Movie: Next

Husband's Perspective:

This movie was very entertaining. I can't say I am the biggest Nicolas Cage fan, but he did a good job in this movie. I don't know about the choice of Julianne Moore for her roll, but they easily made up for it by having Jessica Biel. It was a creative story and keeps you interested.

Stars (out of 5): 4

Would I watch it again: Yes

Wife's Perspective:

I am not a huge Nicholas Cage fan, however, he gave an interesting performance in the movie "Next". It makes people think about the realities of terrorism and the possibilities of resolving potential threats. Without saying more... rent it.

Stars (out of 5): 3.5

Would I watch it again: Yes+

Our overall recommendation: Rent it

Las Vegas showroom magician Cris Johnson has a secret which is a gift and a curse which torments him: he can see a few minutes into the future. Sick of the examinations he underwent as a child and the interest of the government and medical establishment in his power, he lies low under an assumed name in Vegas, performing cheap tricks and living off small-time gambling “winnings.” But when a terrorist group threatens to detonate a nuclear device in Los Angeles, government agent Callie Ferris must use all her wiles to capture Cris and convince him to help her stop the cataclysm.

What is this Blog all about?

My wife and I enjoy watching movies and tv. Sure there are all sorts of critics out there, but we figured it would be better if people were able to find critics that they agree with as opposed to the "so called experts." Neither of us are tied to the entertainment industry in any way and are not related nor do we know anyone in the industry. All we are basing our opinions on is if the movie or television show is worth watching. It's that simple. For each movie or TV show we will post both of our opinions so you can see how it is from the husband's perspective and the wife's perspective.

And now...on with the show.
